Casual Rocket Action Game 'Rocket1994' — Steam Store Page Now Live
A special program has been prepared just for you.
Solo developer Chikinan has launched the Steam store page for
Rocket1994, a casual rocket action game for PC (Steam).
Wishlists are now open. Release is planned for Summer 2026.
Rocket1994 is a rocket action game set inside a program called
the "C-40 Campaign," rendered in the visual style of mid-90s
console games. Pilot a physics-based rocket to reach the goal —
that's all there is to it.
As you progress, the tone of the program's guidance begins
to shift. What is the true purpose of the C-40 Campaign?
9 stages. About 30 minutes of gameplay. Multiple endings.
The game's visual style is influenced by analog horror.
It is not a horror game, but there is an unsettling atmosphere
throughout that I hope you'll enjoy.
■ A Different Game Every Stage
The 9 stages are built on 7 different rule sets.
Beyond the core rocket-landing gameplay, you'll encounter
battle arenas, races, puzzles, and quizzes — each stage
brings something new while the controls stay the same.
■ Mid-90s Console Visuals
The entire screen is filtered to evoke the feel of playing
a game through a CRT monitor. Low-poly models, simple shaders,
scanline flicker, color bleeding, and noise — the visuals are
crafted to capture the atmosphere of playing a 3D console game
in 1994.
