Unleashed is an indie RPG based on sins & virtues.
The story is set up in a magical world, driven by the law of the strongest. Across the different cities, there are no established rules, and people live in fear and insecurity. Scholars from different cities, known for their studies about magic, decided to meet in order to find a solution to the destructive behavior of the human being. The only solution they eventually found was to cast a spell, that would free people from their sins. The expected result was of course to get some peace in this brutal world. However, a powerful spell is dangerous to cast, and everything did no go as planned. People got affected by the spell, but instead of getting released, they just became the expression of their primordial sin. It resulted in impulsive actions, led by their desire...
Scholars, guilty of how it turned out, decided to use this new weakness of mind of the affected people to establish rules in order to mitigate the damage done. They created a religious order, the devoted, which goal is to protect people from future disasters...
